Early Life: Growing up in Champaign, Illinois, a town dominated by the presence of the University of Illinois, Juan was noted as both a good student and a mischevious one. Faldo Cornblossom, one of Juan's former teachers remembers Juan not only enjoying dissecting frogs, but volunteering to eat them as well. Another Champaign-Urbana legend recalls Juan hiding Limberger cheese in the teachers lounge, creating a foul odor that lasted for weeks. Nonetheless, Juan denies involvement to this day, claiming only "Skipper set me up."
